Sarah Cho joined LVL Claims Services in 2015 and is a Claims Director, handling claims in areas of Employment Practices and Directors and Officers Liability. Sarah began her career in the Professional Liability Insurance industry with Chartis Insurance (now known as AIG) in the areas of Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices, and Directors & Officers Liability. Prior to joining LVL, Sarah was a Claims Specialist at ACE North American Claims handling Architects & Engineers Professional Liability claims. Sarah graduated cum laude from Boston University with Bachelors of Arts degrees in International Relations and French Language and Literature. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School.

Michael Fried joined LVL Claims Services in 2012 and is the Chief Claims Officer. With over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Mike has most recently spent 5 years at ACE where he was Assistant Vice President managing Complex and Mainstream matters, Technology/Cyber, Errors & Omissions and Financial Institutions claims. He also managed a TPA handling an ACE Lawyers and Title Agents Professional Liability Program. Mike spent 16 years at American International Group as Vice President in charge of the Financial Institutions Group managing the professionals responsible for claims against Security Broker Dealers, Insurance Agents, Investment Advisers and other Insureds in the Financial Services Industry. Mike acted as Litigation Manager for the Claims Division and handled the Bad Faith lawsuits filed against the Company along with all major E&O claims arising out of the Division. Mike received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.

Larry Harris joined LVL Claims Services in 2011 and is an Operations Analyst. Prior to joining LVL, Larry was employed at American International Group and Zurich North America. Larry has over 18 years in Claims Operations, Administrative Management and Administrative Services.

Paul Lavelle is President of LVL Claims Services. After identifying a growing need for Insurance Carriers to have access to quality expertise in the areas of Management Liability, Paul founded LVL Claims Services, LLC. With over 20 years experience in Professional Liability in both claims and underwriting, Paul had the ability to provide a unique and comprehensive perspective in the approach to claim handling. With this, he established a firm that staffs talented and experienced individuals that provide both quality service and results to our clients. Prior to founding LVL, Paul was President of American International Group’s (“AIG”) Domestic Claims Financial Lines Division, a position that he held for 6 of his 16 years at AIG. Paul also spent several years within National Union, an Underwriting subsidiary of AIG.

Deirdre May joined LVL Claims Services in 2012 as an Operations Analyst. Prior to joining LVL, she was a full-time student and received her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Vassar College in May 2012.

Frank Molfetta joined LVL Claims Services as a Claims Analyst in 2015 handling a range of professional and management liability claims, including Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary, Crime and Errors & Omissions. Frank began his career, working in the Reinsurance and Insurance practice group of Budd Larner, P.C., handling a variety of litigated reinsurance and insurance coverage disputes. In 2013 Frank went to work for Navigators Insurance Company in the professional liability department where he handled errors and omissions claims for real estate, insurance agents, accountants and miscellaneous professionals. Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware in 2007, and a Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 2011.

Vincent Miletti joined LVL Claim Services in 2012 and is a Claims Director. Vincent comes with 6 years of professional claims experience handling claims under a variety of coverages including Directors & Officers Liability, Non-Profit Liability and Employment Practices for Fortune 500 Companies, National Organizations and Private Enterprise. Vincent has strong litigation management and claims resolution skills, including settling claims in and outside of the formal mediation process. Vincent graduated Summa Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a degree in Sociology, and currently expects to graduate from New York Law School with Honors by May 2013.

Susan Paek joined LVL Claims Services as a Claims Director in 2010 and became an Assistant Vice President in 2013 managing a team of professionals handling a range of both professional and management liability claims, including Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary, Crime, and Errors & Omissions. Susan began her career in the Professional Liability Insurance industry in 2004 with AIG handling claims in the areas of Specialty Professional Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. Susan also spent a number of years practicing insurance defense law focusing on employment litigation, coverage litigation, as well as defending professionals, such as attorneys and financial services industry professionals. Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Human Services from the State University at Buffalo, New York in 1998 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2003.

David Rettig joined LVL Claims Services in 2014 and is a Claims Director. Prior to LVL, David began his career in the Professional Liability Insurance industry in 2002 with American International Group (AIG), first as a Claims Analyst, and then for the previous 10 years as a Claims Director in the areas of Employment Practices and Directors & Officers Liability. Prior to AIG, David handled claims for Prudential Securities and Prudential Insurance. David holds a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Brandeis University, Massachusetts.

Mike Stewart joined LVL Claims Services as a Claims Director in 2007 and became an Assistant Vice President in 2013 managing a team of claims professionals that handle claims on private D&O, not for profit D&O and employment practices liability policies. Mike continues to handle a variety of complex professional liability claims with policy limits exposure, including Directors’ and Officers’ class action lawsuits, Employment Practices litigation, Broker/Dealer Claims, professional negligence claims and Fidelity Claims under various policies. In addition his other responsibilities, Mike has also been involved in numerous audit and client projects for LVL. Prior to working at LVL, Mike worked at Hudson Insurance Group handling claims for their Architects & Engineers program and also worked at AIG in their mainstream Directors and Officers Claim Group. Mike graduated for Loyola College of Maryland with a Business Administration degree in Finance.
